Providence is the primary city and you'll
find interesting attractions all over the rest of the "island" as
well.
The state enjoyed "15 minutes of
fame" late in the last century for producing the winner of the premier season of
the hit television show "Survivor," but the more historical reasons for visiting
continue to stand the test of time now that the show is getting on in years.
