Travelers on the way to New England will most often
find that the Tappan Zee Bridge, accessed via the Garden State Parkway
and rejoining I-95 in New York, is much easier on the nerves than
following I-95 across the George Washington Bridge.
If New York City is the destination, the
more convenient access is through either the Holland or Lincoln Tunnels.
It's best to plan your trip through this area for mid-morning or
afternoon to avoid the rush hour traffic.
