Paper Mill Playhouse
Yes, this Millburn location was originally a paper mill. Built in 1795 and producing paper through 1928. The playhouse organization was founded in 1934, producing the first play in 1938. This is truly a landmark theatre.
Community Theatre
Originally built in 1937 by Walter Reade, motion pictures were the staple until 1974. After being in limbo for 20 years it reopened as a Morristown performing arts center in September of 1994. A variety of shows are produced.
Parsippany Playhouse
Allegro Productions is the in-house troupe for this Lake Hiawatha theater.
Country Gate Players

Somerset Valley Players
Originally formed by some PTA members in 1967, this troupe purchased their current venue, a one-room schoolhouse on Amwell Road, Neshanic, in 1980.
Forum Theatre Company
This Metuchen Theatre has presented over 100 productions since opening in 1983.

This performing arts troupe produces their plays at the Clarksburg Inn in Millstone.
Hunterdon Hills Playhouse
This dinner-theatre opened in 1981 out in the countryside of Hampton - about three miles west of Clinton.
State Theatre
This 1800-seat concert hall on Livinston Avenue in New Brunswick draws over 300,000 patrons annually.
John Harms Center for the Arts
The New Jersey State Council on the Arts has recognized this Englewood center as a "Regional Center of Artistic Excellence." There is plenty of room here, with 1400 seats and a wide variety of programs to keep them occupied.
Teaneck New Theatre

McCarter Theatre Center
